Academic Planning Process

2024/2025 School Year

The academic planning process includes several steps which are outlined below. These steps are part of a comprehensive process that gives students the knowledge and skills necessary to develop a 4 year plan of courses that meet graduation and college entrance requirements, and meet college and career goals. 


Step 1A: Please review the academic planning presentation 
Step 1b: view the current academic planning guide to see what course may be offered for the 24/25 school year 

Step 2: your grade specific academic planning worksheet will be give to you by your 2nd period teacher on january 22nd. if you need an extra copy, please click on the links below that corresponds to your current grade level 

9th Freshman10th sophomores11th Juniors


step 3:  (due by 11:59 pm on 1/28/24) Complete your academic plan in aeries after you sign in, click on 'Classes' and then 'academic plan'.

step 4 (due 1/29/24): Turn in your completed academic planning worksheet to your 2nd period teacher

step 5: meet with your school counselor to review your transcript and course selections during the months of february and march. these meeting will occur in youe 2nd period classes and will be scheduled with your teacher. there is no need to make an appointment with your counselor. 

step 6: if your are requesting Teacher aide, office aide, or off campus for the 2024-2024 school year, please comeplete the form below
