President - Dara Dungworth

dara

I have a Junior at RHS and a Junior at Sierra College (RHS alumna). This is my SEVENTH year of my eight-year RHS journey! We’re from Diamond Creek and Cooley where I was involved with Book Fair and Staff Appreciation, respectively. It’s so rewarding to me to support all our amazing teachers and staff. I believe you get what you give and everyone deserves to feel valued. By giving the teachers and staff a little extra and a little fun from time to time they know they aren’t taken for granted. And that’s good for our kids. I love supporting fellow parents and our students, too!

I got involved with the RHS Parents’ Club as a Frosh parent because not only does this group directly support the students and staff, we support each other--Tiger parents, too. What parent doesn’t need a little support? There’s so much new in high school and it’s a fast four years to help your kid successfully launch out into the world. The Parents’ Club goal is to make these four years a little better and a little easier for everyone!

Join us if you too would like to be an integral part of the Tiger Community!

Vice President / Freshman Orientation / Scholarships - Jen Bartee

Jennifer has a senior at RHS as well as a 2022 graduate and an 8th grader at Cooley Middle School. She has lived in Roseville since moving her family from Phoenix, AZ in 2015.

Jen enjoys being part of the Parents’ Club because it gives her the opportunity to contribute to the school and improve her children's learning and growing experience. One of the biggest benefits is connecting with other parents and staff.

Jennifer is vice president of the Parents’ Club, assists with Freshman Orientation and is the Chairperson for the Scholarship Program.  Freshman Orientation involves getting the word out about our program and providing assistance to parents as they are welcomed on campus.  The Scholarship Program reviews applications of senior students looking for financial support to further their education.

Secretary - Lynelle Perry

My eldest daughter is a recent RHS graduate, Class of 2024 and is studying at a university level in California. Currently, I have a JUNIOR (class of 2026). She’s focusing on academic success, cheerleading for RHS, and preparing to attend college while having fun and experiencing the fullness of RHS.

Both girls attended Cooley Middle School where I participated in the PTC as a member by volunteering for events and attending meetings. We moved to Roseville in the summer of 2018 from the Atlanta, GA area. I was an active parent during their elementary school years in PTA and volunteered regularly in the classrooms and library. In 2021, I joined RHS PTC to continue to be a part of my daughters’ educational experience. Participating in the PTC events (as well as sports events) gives me a glance of what high school is like nowadays. Dara recruited me to hold the position of Secretary to document our monthly meetings in the spring of 2022. It’s been a nice way to meet other parents, see the programs offered to students, have an inside look at the support for and from the staff, and help my daughters navigate high school in a positive way.

Treasurer/Membership - Autumn Faris

Hello!  I have two boys and have lived in Roseville since 2013.  I was involved in the PTC at Woodbridge Elementary School for about 4 years.  I have a Sophomore at RHS and a seventh grader at Buljan Middle School.  This is my second year being a member of the Parents' Club and have enjoyed being part of making a difference for the staff and students at RHS.  I am looking forward to continuing my involvement as a board member and making a difference.

Dine and Donate - Emily Phillipe

This is my second year being a member of the Parents’ Club and have enjoyed all that comes with it! I honestly do not know what I would have done without this club last year as a new high school parent. I have found all the meetings informative and the guest speakers full of knowledge to help navigate my family through all that comes with high school. My son is now a sophomore and is on the Cross Country and Track team. I also have a daughter in eighth grade at Buljan. I will definitely be very involved at Roseville High School for the next five years!

My family moved to Roseville in the summer of 2020 from Rancho Cucamonga. Prior to moving here, I was regularly active in my children’s PTA and loved helping in their classrooms. I love being a member of this club because it gives me the opportunity to give back as much as I can. Last year I had so much fun helping with the teacher’s breakfast and end of year luncheon. I am looking forward to more events to give back this year too.

As the Dine and Donate chair, I will work with local restaurants to find easy ways to fundraise.  I mean who doesn’t want an excuse not to cook, while supporting your child’s school in the process?! If you drop in on our meetings, you may get a taste of some of my baked goodies too.  I love baking and sharing with others! I am looking forward to a fun and rewarding year at Roseville High School!

Tiger Pride/Staff Luncheon - Deborah Bales

Hello!  I have three sons currently in school; a college freshman, a junior, and a 5th grader at Diamond Creek. Our family has been so lucky with the educational experiences we have had so far. Joining the parents’ club here at RHS has been a great experience.  It has helped me navigate all there is to learn about high school and feel supported while doing so.

Tiger Pride/Staff Luncheon - Nicol Hunter
My family has lived in Roseville since 2010.  We have felt incredibly lucky throughout our school years at Diamond Creek Elementary, Buljan Middle School, and now at Roseville High School. I have two amazing kiddos. Our daughter is a college freshman, and our son is a junior at RHS.  I have been involved in parent-teacher clubs for many years. The Roseville High School PTC has provided my family with amazing assistance navigating this exciting part of our children’s educational journey. The monthly meetings are very informative and prove that there is an incredible amount of support available from all the different people who are a part of this PTC board and the fabulous RHS staff.

Tiger Pride - Laura Pipitone

Laura began attending Parent’s Club meetings when her son was a freshman.  She was perfectly happy being a “member at large.”  However, in the Fall of 2019, she helped distribute the Tiger Pride awards and was hooked!  Starting in the 2020-2021 school year, she, along with Deborah and Nicol, became the Tiger Pride Team.  They have been sharing this responsibility ever since.

She has always been involved in her children's schools in some way.  Coordinating Tiger Pride awards has been a rewarding way to give back to RHS.  Seeing the smiles on the student’s faces when they receive an acknowledgment from their teachers is what makes her day!

Laura has a son who is an RHS graduate (Class of 2022) and a daughter who is currently a Senior (Class of 2025).

Tiger Grants - Michelle Sheidenberger

Michelle has a son who graduated from RHS in 2021 and a daughter who is a senior. Her children attended Diamond Creek Elementary and Cooley Middle School. She has been an avid volunteer at both schools but never held a position on the PTC before. Joining the Parents’ Club was a great decision for her because she was overwhelmed with all of the ins and outs of high school as her son entered as a freshman. The Parents' Club is a club organized and operated by parents for the benefit of parents. It is a source of information for navigating high school with bimonthly guest speakers designed to educate parents about various topics. She has served as the Grants Chair for the past five years and continues to support this program and the organization. Grants are awarded to teachers and clubs of RHS and are funded by donations. Past awards have included the purchase of a sewing machine for the Thrift Club, equipment for Engineering, contributions towards a grief and loss curriculum for the Wellness Center, and a new sound system for the Moeller Gym.
